Photo Triager is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app operates entirely offline and collects no user data.
Photo Triager does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, and no crash reporting submitted by the app.
The app makes no network connections. It operates fully offline. When files reside on iCloud Drive, iOS may perform background downloads automatically, but Photo Triager itself initiates no network activity.
Photo Triager reads RAW photo files and reads/writes XMP sidecar files only within folders you explicitly select via the iOS Files picker. The app does not access files outside your chosen folder. File access is governed by iOS security-scoped bookmarks.
The app includes an optional "Send Feedback" feature that opens the iOS email composer. This pre-fills basic diagnostic information (app version, iOS version, device model, sidecar format setting) into the email body. No data is sent automatically — you control the email content and explicitly choose to send it. The app does not initiate or control the network connection used by the email composer.
The app uses Apple's standard diagnostic frameworks:
Photo Triager uses no third-party SDKs, services, or libraries that collect data.
